How to Enroll in Offers? | Single Location | Astro Offers

How to Enroll in Astro Offers:

Warning
Only ADMIN users can enroll in Offers. 

Enrolling in Offers Timestamp 0:00-2:30

1. Go to the Offers tab on your account. 


2. Select Available Astro Offers


You can filter using the drop-down menu or by clicking on the colored boxes, which will show only the Offers listed in that color (for more details, refer to the Filter Tools and Color Codes section of this article).

The color options are also on the Enrolled page as well


3. Select the Offer you would like to participate in by clicking on the brand name. 




4. Click on the Enroll button. Repeat these steps for any Offers you would like to participate in.

5. Select your Distributor. Enter in your Account Number if needed. Then select 'I agree.'



Filter Tools

Use the filters above the Available Offers to help you find the best Offers for your store. You can filter by Manufacturer (aka Brand), Category (Food, Treats, Supplies, etc.), Pet Species (Dog, Cat, Horse, Small Animal, etc.), Offer Title, and even your pre-selected My Brands list.

TIP: My Brands will help you ensure you never miss an Offer by a brand you carry. Check and update your My Brands list regularly to ensure you don't miss any new brands that join Astro.

Color Codes

Offers will be highlighted according to the following categories.

TIP: When you click on a colored square in the grey bar below the drop-down menus, it filters by that category. For instance, when you click the blue square next to "Indicates a Flash Sale," it reveals all available Flash Sales. This makes finding high-value flash sales a breeze.

GREEN: Indicates a Currently Running Offer

When you enroll in one of these offers, it will be immediately available to your customers for in-store or online redemption. 
  1. Check your inventory as you enroll, if you do not have the items in-stock, hold off on enrolling in the Offer until you do. 
  2. Start promoting immediately by printing and posting shelf talkers and sending a campaign to your customers.

YELLOW: Indicates an Offer starting in the next 5 days

These Offers will launch within the next 1-5 days. Since these Offers will launch in less than a week you'll need to do your dudiligence to make sure you are ready for when they do.
  1. Check your inventory - Do you have what you need instock to accomidate these Offers?
  2. Use Astro's Marketing Suite to campaign to your customers.
  3. Print your shelf talkers and post them on the day (or right before) the Offers go live.
You can enroll in these Offers now, but they will not be available for your customers to redeem until they launch. Refer to the valid date window at the bottom of the tile to determine exactly when the Offer will become available to your customers. 

RED: Indicates a Future Offer

These Offers will launch in the next 6+ days. Astro will typically give you between 2 weeks and a month to enroll in an Offer and prepare your store before the Offer launches.
  1. Check your inventory and place any wholesale orders required to fill gaps.
  2. Start promoting upcoming Offers via email campaigns to give customers a heads up of what to expect next month. 
  3. Print your shelf talkers and have them at the ready to start hanging when the Offers go live. 

You can enroll in these Offers now, but they will not be available for your customers to redeem until they launch. Refer to the valid date window at the bottom of the tile to determine exactly when the Offer will become available to your customers. 

BLUE Lightbulb: Indicates a Flash Sale

A Flash Sale is any Astro Offer that is valid for less than a full month. Typically, a Flash Sale will run for anywhere from a couple of days to a week, give or take. These Offers are most common around key sale hoidays such as Earth Week, Neighborhood Pet Store Day, Small Business Saturday, Black Friday, and so on - however, many brands decide to run their own Flash Sales throughout the year outside of these holidays. Since they only run for a short window they tend to offer greater discounts to customers. These are the Offers that you move to your end caps or put together a special display for so your customers don't miss out.
