Push notifications are used to keep your customers informed about new programs, specials, and other offerings at your store via the customer's mobile device. To set up a new push notification, click Push Notifications under the Actions drop-down menu.
The page will refresh, and a list of recent notifications will appear. Click the New Push Notification button at the bottom of the list to add a new notification.
First, select the program from the drop down under Associated Program that is associated with the push notification. Next, select which customers will receive the notification – either All Customers or Participating Customers Only. Then, select the pet type. This acts as a filter for the notification so only customers who own the selected pet type will receive the push notification. The list of customers who will receive the notification will populate in the Recipient's text box.
Finally, type out the message to your customers in the Notification Message text box. Here you are able to provide information about the promotion, special, or program to your customers. When you have entered in all the information correctly, click Send Notification.
