Astro Coupons | Credit Reimbursement
Coupons can only be redeemed on Standard Astro Accounts. At this time, Coupons are not compatible with POS Report style or Nightly Data Feed style Astro Accounts.
Astro Coupons Credit Reimbursement:
Redemptions for Coupons are automatically reported to the same Distributor you have selected for the corresponding Frequent Buyer Enrollment.
You will have the option to change the distributor, if needed on the Coupon's description page.
If you have a multiple-location account and several of your locations are reporting the corresponding Frequent Buyer Program to different distributors then the MFG Coupon will mirror those fulfillment selections and the coupon will report to those different distributors as well based on the location of redemption. If, for some reason, a sub-location is not enrolled in the Frequent Buyer program, then they will be enrolled with Temporary Holding as the Distributor.
Coupons will be in the form of Dollars Off or a Free Good.
Depending on how the Brand wants to promote their products they can decide whether to reward $Off or a Free Good. The Astro Coupon Redemption Pop-up will tell you exactly what to reward the customer. Then depending on the reward issued the redemption and future credit will either appear on your Distributor Rebate Credit Batches Report (Dollars Off Coupons) or your Distributor Free Goods Credit Batches Report(Free Goods Coupons).
For example: If the Coupon is for Dollars Off an item, you should see the credit show on the Reports > Distributor Rebate Credit Batches once the Coupon has been redeemed.
It will be listed under the Distributor selected for that particular program and waiting to be processed by the distributor. In this example: Since we redeemed Katherine's Coupon in the 'How to Redeem Coupon' article examples, it is now showing as Uncredited in the Distributor Rebate Credit Batches report and the Coupon is listed under Pet Food Experts for processing.
In the example above Midtown Pet Supply is reporting their Monster Naturals Frequent Buyer Program to Pet Food Distributors for all of their locations, therefore their Monster Naturals MFG Coupon is set to report to Pet Food Distributors once redemptions are made.
It will be listed under the Distributor selected for that particular program and waiting to be processed by the distributor.
